A few weeks ago, amiando got the message that it was selected as Technology Pioneer 2010. Yesterday, there was the awards show. amiando was honoured as Technology Pioneer 2010 by the World Economic Forum in the context of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Felix Haas, CEO of amiando, was on site and received the prestigious award.
Why did amiando win this award? The answer is – amiando has a deep impact on the world. More precisely, amiando is expected to have a deep impact on global business and society.
amiando is the only company selected from Germany. Other award winners include social media companies like Twitter und Playfish. Previous Technology Pioneers include Google, Mozilla and Paypal.
The WEF received hundreds of candidates from around the world. The 2010 class covers four continents, with 18 of the 26 companies hailing from the US and the rest from Brazil, Germany, India, Israel, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom. Unbelievable, amiando is one of them. And even the only Technology Pioneer 2010 selected from Germany.
