London – 17th January 2012 – European pioneers in online registration and ticketing amiando are launching in the UK with an exclusive event on the 19th January and new offices based in London’s Fetter Lane.

In the past 5 years amiando have rocked the event and conference market with their online registration, ticketing and marketing tools. From a standing start the company has grown to enjoy multiple award winning status, partnership with Google OpenSocial, and software integration into one of Europe’s leading online business networks XING, which has more than 11 million users.

Co-founded by a group of internet entrepreneurs, amiando has developed a comprehensive package of Software as a Service tools that have transformed the ability to control ticket sales, entry management and marketing online. In September 2011 the company launched their new Facebook ticket shop, enabling event organisers to use Facebook as an additional distribution channel. Integration with the world’s largest social network, with a user base of some 800 million people, creates promotional potential never seen before in the events and conference industry.

Having already set markets alight in Germany, France and Spain, amiando is now bringing their revolutionary event solutions to the UK. The company launches their new British operation on the 19th January with a cocktail party in the chic urban surroundings of the W London Hotel – an exciting new venue in the heart of London’s Leicester Square.

To get to the heart of one of the world’s largest economies amiando are taking up office space in Fetter Lane – a central business location just a stone’s throw away from some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks. They will be supported by a UK team with more than two decade’s expertise in events management and marketing.
