This week, May 8 & 9, the NEXT 2012 takes place in Berlin! The leading European conference for the digital industry has put together an exciting program with renowned speakers like Christopher von Dexlen (Schiller), Steve Sounders (Google) and René Obermann (Deutsche Telekom). NEXT 2012 will be a perfect opportunity to do some serious networking with experienced founders, investors and business incubators and capture international interest.

This year’s ADC Festical takes place in Frankfurt/Main on May 9-13 under the motto „Ideas are the money of tomorrow. Creatives as harbingers of a new economy.” This year’s program comprises great keynote speakers and after each keynote, the speaker faces up to the discussion with a famous ADC member. Prof. Hartmut Esslinger (frog design) will discuss “The Shape of Things to come” with Amir Kassaei (DDB Worldwide), David Weinberger (speaker and commentator, author and philosopher) and Jo Marie Farwick (HEIMAT Hamburg) will discuss “The era of knowledge. And what we do with it.”

Everyone who’s interested in animation, effects, games and transmedia should be at the FMX 2012 in Stuttgart on May 8-11! Program highlights this year are Oscar winner Rob Legato, who supplies you with essential VFX treats from award- winning Hugo. FMX also welcomes pioneers Doug Trumbull and Ray Feeney. Trumbull will discuss the history of cinema from both photographic and projection aspects in the special track Cinema of the Future.
