amiando, Europe‘s leading tool for online event registration and ticketing, continues to write its success story. Within one year, amiando significantly increased its sales growth in all markets and opened three new offices.

From a start-up company to a successful international player

Over 180,000 events have been organized worldwide with amiando, and more than 80,000 event organizers use the online event management tool. Business clients, such as SinnerSchraders NEXT conference, LeWeb, Carsonified and Decanter, have been using amiando for many years for several events and conferences. Many clients in the entertainment industry are also using amiando’s online ticketing solution, such as the Berlin Music Week, the C’n’B Convention, and the SEMF Festival.

amiando has been awarded numerous prizes for its innovative products, including the “Technology Pioneer of 2010” at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

amiando reaches over 100% sales growth compared to last year

Compared to the previous year’s figures, amiando realized an enormous sales growth of over 100% between January and May 2012. As before, the German market is still the web2.0 company’s most important core market with twice as many sales. But most promising is the increased internationalization strategy in 2012; significantly more events were organized with amiando in the English-speaking and Asian markets compared to previous years.  The volume of sales grew at over 135% in both the UK and Asia. Thanks to its innovative technology, amiando also enjoys great popularity in the US market, where a growth in sales of about 150% has been reached.

Expansion strategy: amiando opens three new international offices

To offer the growing market in Asia, France, and UK a better on-site service, amiando opened two new offices in Hong Kong and Paris in 2011. At the beginning of the year, another office was opened in London. amiando’s  headquarters remain in Munich. The growth figures and the successful history confirm amiando’s corporate strategy. In total, amiando now has 75 employees and four offices worldwide and is a subsidiary company of XING AG.

Green Ticketing – climate neutral events with amiando and ClimatePartner

The great success of amiando is also due to the continuous implementation of innovative products. Since June 2012, customers can improve the carbon emissions of their events in cooperation with ClimatePartner.

The CO2 emissions are calculated per attendee and can be offset upon request through the support of a forest protection project in Mozambique.
