LeWeb, Europe’s Number 1 Internet event, kicks off today, 7th December in Paris. Once again, hosts Loïc and Géraldine Le Meur have used amiando’s ticketing solution to successfully sell thousands of tickets for LeWeb’11. But what’s the story behind amiando and LeWeb? It all began in 2007, when amiando and LeWeb were still in their early stages. amiando’s CEO and Co-founder Felix Haas practically had to turn up at Loïc’s doorstep to make his pitch. The two entrepreneurs finally arranged to ‘have a chat’ and that’s how their partnership started. Read the full story here.

Google+ does the rest of the work and takes them straight to the page, without the need for combing through hundreds of search results. This could represent a significant advantage for businesses in terms of brand promotion. Having gathered an impressive 40 million users in just 120 days, Google+ is clearly on the rise, but will it be able to compete with existing Social Media giants, such as Twitter and Facebook? Find out more.
Social Media Democracy
